Powdered baron (Euthalia monina)

Powdered baron (Euthalia monina) is a species of animal in the Nymphalidae, a butterfly of small to medium size, dark brown with white and blue trimmings, hairy, sexually dimorphic, lives in bushes and low trees.

E. monina has a wingspan of 50-70 mm with wavy margins. Males have black or dark brown wings with a blue-green tint on the outside. The female has dark brown wings with pale gray markings.
