Common pierrot (Castalius rosimon) is a species of animal in the Lycaenidae, a small butterfly, the wings are predominantly white with black plots, the margins have a black band with a curved zig-zag back, the lower hind wings have a black tail thread with white tip

C. rosimon has black antennae with white rings and tips. The male has a white head and between the eyes. Palpi, chest and abdomen white with black alternating and bordered by white on the sides.
