Showy spider flower (Cleoserrata speciosa) is a species of plant in the Cleomaceae, annual herb with erect stems and compound leaves, elliptical, alternately arranged, 2-16 cm long, green, with a central main vein with many pinnate veins.
C. speciosa has many flowers at the end of the stem, overgrown with erect and conspicuous racemes. Each flower has a small leaf-like bract.
Flowers have four petals, inverted lanceolate, pink to white, 2.8-3.8 cm long. Flowers have six stamens on filaments that are 3-6 cm long. The fruit is a linear capsule up to 8 cm long on a long stalk.
