Cacao amphidromus (Amphidromus furcillatus) is a species of animal in the Camaenidae, arboreal snails that live in trees in wet and dry ecosystems, have large and hard shells, two pairs of antennae in front, often found solitary or in pairs.
A. furcillatus has a hard shell with six grades, green or yellow or brown with brown or bright red stripes, gates have thick margins that are light in color with dark bands.
Body surface rough and white or yellow or brown. A pair of large, long, erect, brightly colored antennae and light colored hammer tips. The front pair of antennas are shorter and smaller.
Amphidromus snails live arboreal, climbing large and woody trees in wet or dry ecosystems in rarely disturbed forests, hard to find on agricultural land, solitary or in pairs on the same tree.
