Serek clearweed (Pilea angulata) is a species of plant in the Urticaceae, herbaceous perennial, erect stem, up to 100 cm high, succulent, square or cylindrical, enlarged in the center of the internode, bright green or reddish in color, forming colonies in the shade.
P. angulata has stipules that are immediately deciduous or subpersistent, green or brown, oblong, 7-25 mm long. The stalk is 2-9 cm long. The leaf blade is 7-23 cm long, 3-7 cm wide and is ovate or ovate-elliptic or oblong-lanceolate.
The surface is wavy, pale green on the underside, dark green on the top. The three main veins are central and linear. Base contact, tapered tip and rough serrated edges. Paired inflorescence, male is dense cyme paniculata, 1-2 cm. Females 2-5 cm.
