Chinese bur (Triumfetta rhomboidea) is a species of plant in the Malvaceae, shrub, erect, up to 100 cm high, woody stem, cylindrical, green, white hairy, grows in colonies in forests, agricultural land, roadsides and abandoned lands.
T. rhomboidea has leaves with long stalks. Strands are semicircular with three lobes, pointed tip, dark green, serrated margins, 3 main veins with many small pinnate veins.
Disc-shaped flowers, yellow, transparent and 9 stamens.
The fruit is round to slightly ovoid, about 6 mm in diameter with fine spines and about 2 mm long.
