Trailing daisy (Sphagneticola trilobata) is a species of plant in the Asteraceae, perennial herbaceous spreading and matting up to 30 cm high, stems cylindrical, up to 40 cm long, green or red in color and internodes produce roots.
S. trilobata has thick, dark green or light green leaves, 4-9 cm long, 2-5 cm wide, hairy, serrated or irregularly toothed, usually with a pair of lateral lobes.
Disc-shaped flowers, bright yellow. Seeds are tuberculate achenes, 4-5 mm long. Propagation is mostly vegetative because seeds are usually infertile.
