Creeping coldenia (Coldenia procumbens) is a species of plant in the Boraginaceae, perennial herb, lying and creeping on the ground, radiating stems with many branches and up to 40 cm long.
C. procumbens has leaves that are arranged alternately along the stem, oval to almost round, about 2.5 cm long, covered with dense hairs and toothed to almost lobed margins.
Flowers solitary, small, white, mostly hidden between the leaves. Fruit ovoid, 4-5 mm in diameter, lobed 4, beak with irregular protrusions.
Creeping coldenia grows in floodplains and riverbanks that are seasonally inundated, mostly on sandy or silty soil at elevations up to 750 meters.
