Blue sage or blue eranthemum (Eranthemum pulchellum) is a plant species in Acanthaceae, flowering shrub, evergreen, erect, up to 1 meter high, many-branched, strong, woody, tridently branched, cylindrical and brown lower stems, young stems square with the corners are clear and colored green.
E. pulchellum has thick, stiff and leathery leaves, dark green in color, sharp apex, serrated margins, inclining veins and hairs. The leaves have stalks and appear on the branches.
Flowers emerge from the green-white veined bracts that remain after the blooms have fallen off, forming columns several centimeters long. Fan-shaped and bright blue in color.
