Janglot (Miliusa horsfieldii)

Janglot or pulet or Saccopetalum horsfieldii (Miliusa horsfieldii) is a species of plant in Annonaceae, a large tree, up to 30 meters high, straight trunk, many branches, slender habitus, round fruit, native habitat in lowland rainforests up to 200 meters elevation.

M. horsfieldii has oval-shaped leaves, sitting opposite and alternate. The blade is 15 cm long, 6 cm wide, short stalk, a main vein in the middle with many small pinnate veins. The upper side is dark green and shiny, while the lower side is pale green.



The fruits in the panicle grow in a circle. The fruit is round or slightly elongated, 3.5 cm wide, green when young and red when ripe. The fruit has a 2 cm long stalk.

Pink poui ( Tabebuia rosea ) is a species of plant in the Bignoniaceae, a small neotropical tree, growing up to 30 meters tall and up to 100 cm in diameter. It has layered and irregular branches, with gray to brown bark and vertical fissures.
